Founder of the firm, Pamela is a registered landscape architect with more than 25 years of experience on a wide range of commercial and residential projects. She oversees the vast collection of PSLA projects.

Pamela's love of landscape began when she was young: working with her grandfather in his garden, caddying for her father on the golf course and playing with her siblings in the DuPage County forest preserves. Her love of design began with her mother's artistic talents, her high school drafting class and her fascination with the world of building. She followed that love of landscape and design to Iowa State University, where she learned from world-renowned landscape architecture professors on a campus named one of the top 25 most beautiful sites in the U.S. All these experiences built the foundation for her eventual career path.

Once she chose landscape architecture as a career, Pamela’s design sensibilities were shaped during the first several years of her career while working for one of Chicago’s leading landscape architecture firms, Joe Karr and Associates, a division of Harry Weese & Associates. Once she established her own successful private practice, Pamela also taught part-time at a leading Illinois community college and served as the reviewing landscape architect for two villages.

When Pamela is not in the office, she’s spending time with her family and friends. On any given weekend, you might find her drawing in her office, discussing a new medical research article with her son in St. Louis, enjoying the rich culture in Chicago with her daughter, or cheering for her youngest daughter in collegiate volleyball in Rhode Island.
