These clients obtained the lot adjacent to their Chicago home to provide a play area and entertainment space for their family. The clients' wish list included a lawn area, minimal planting beds, a deck with storage beneath and access to the basement and roof deck. Transforming this vacant lot into an outdoor living space, PSLA designed a large terrace that accommodated an outdoor kitchen, dining area and living room with a pergola and fireplace adjacent to the new garage.
